What did Jesus say about love?

Matthew 5:44-45 “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” —Jesus

Luke 6:32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.” —Jesus

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” —Jesus

John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” —Jesus

John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” —Jesus

Mark 12:30 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your strength.” —Jesus
